***BROKE WIDE OPEN is a modern day, urban, multimedia, one person WIZARD OF OZ, the story of a young man's relentless search for his biological mother, his home, his identity. Lyrical like Kerouac, broken and open like Billie Holiday, BROKE WIDE OPEN can best be described as a verbal opera, with it's dynamic movement of words weaved into a beautiful story of someone with no connection to "blood relative", someone who lives in a self imposed exile of "unattached". ***
